L'ONG Nklo Bakan a remis le couvert cette année pour sa caravane de Noël. Débutée le 22 décembre à Korhogo, elle a refermé ses portes le 28 décembre 2024 à Port-Bouët.

 

Abidjan, dimanche 29 décembre 2024-"Nklo Bakan", un mot de la langue Baoulé qui signifie " J'aime les enfants" a bien traduit son appellation lors de cette période festive à l'endroit de près de 3000 enfants, issus de familles défavorisées.

Cette caravane a sillonné les villes de Korhogo, Katiola, Bouaké, Jacqueville pour boucler son périple à Gonzagueville dans la commune de Port-Bouët(Abidjan). 

Offrir un Noël inoubliable à des enfants, leur donnant ainsi l’opportunité de rêver, de sourire et de se sentir aimés est le leitmotive de l'Ong NKlo Bakan dont la présidente fondatrice est Mme Dagry Geneviève épouse Ackah.

Avec à la clé des dons à 4 mamans qui ont accouché le jour de Noël à l'hôpital général de Jacqueville.

Cette activité devenue une tradition pour l'Ong qui compte être un acteur majeur dans l'éducation des enfants d'aujourd'hui, afin de construire une nation forte pour demain. 

La presidente de l'ONG Nklo Bakan a plaidé auprès des bonnes volontés de sorte à l'aider à réaliser son projet de construction du complexe socio-éducatif et culturel à Jacqueville. 

Ce projet sera un levier dans la construction d'une nouvelle génération en Côte d'Ivoire.

Cette action a été possible avec l'aide de la Fondation Children of Africa et du Lions Club Akoben qui a profité de l'occasion pour faire une sensibilisation sur l'hygiène menstruelle et faire don de 100 kits hygiéniques aux jeunes filles de Jacqueville et de Port Bouet.
